It took a year a half, but the transition has happened. I recently went to McMinnville for my little sisters wedding, and the entire time, for the FIRST time, I really felt like I was just a visitor...because...Chico was home. God is truly doing a miracle in this heart of mine.
p.s trying to get Emry to smile normally is like trying to potty train a newborn. impossible. unless you're magic. and I'm not. so enjoy to slew of cheesy grins!

Beautiful girls you have Sophie!!! I spent 4 wks in CA visiting my parents.... and REALLY miss the mornings on the patio in the sunshine. Soak up some rays for me!

That is so sweet! I feel the same way about Mac. We had dinner w/ Scott and Stephanie a few weeks back and Scott was asking why we don't move back like Mark and Elinz and I just made a face! ha. I don't want to move back. Corvallis is my home! (: Can't wait to see you next week. We will only be there the second half of the week. Hope conference is a wonderful respite for you (in spite of the fact that you'll be dying for some sunshine by the time it's over! ha!)
We just got back from San Diego for Jason's cousins wedding and we drove right by the exit for Chico!! If Kenz didn't have to work today, I would've loved to come see you guys.. It was a long drive of 16 hours plus. But we had a blast.. your girls are gorgeous!! and Emry is hilarious!!
Wow those pictures are so cute!! thats funny that Emry has problems smiling normally, so does RAiney!!! haha glad that Chico feels like home...
